Overview As a Sales Associate at Lone Design Club’s No.55 Kildare Village location, you will be an integral part of a dynamic, multi-brand retail environment showcasing a curated edit of high-end brands and designers. This role requires a strong sales mindset, elevated customer service standards, and a passion for brand storytelling. Due to the rotating nature of our brand residencies and frequent brand changeovers, this position also demands a high level of operational excellence, adaptability, and attention to detail. You will act as a brand ambassador not only for Lone Design Club, but for each designer we host — delivering a premium shopping experience that reflects the quality and individuality of the brands we represent. The Role We’re seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Floor Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional retail experience at 55 Kildare. This role is a hands-on, customer-facing position with a mix of responsibilities spanning store operations, visual merchandising, team support, and brand relations. The Assistant Manager will act as a key holder, take ownership of daily operations alongside the Store Manager, and help ensure smooth and consistent delivery of all in-store activity. Key Responsibilities Store Operations & Supervision - Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store. - Take on key holder responsibilities including opening, closing, and general store security. - Ensure the shop floor is well presented, fully stocked, and operating smoothly at all times. - Uphold operational procedures including health & safety, stock control, and loss prevention. Team & Customer Support - Lead, motivate and coach the store team daily to deliver outstanding service. - Assist with ongoing training on the brands within the space. - Provide excellent customer service and ensure all customers feel welcomed and supported. - Assist with training new team members on store processes and brand storytelling. Visual Merchandising & Brand Experience - Maintain and update visual merchandising in line with store and brand guidelines. - Help onboard new brands and ensure their products are displayed effectively. - Work closely with the Store Manager to support brand success, retention, and product sell-through. Events, Marketing & Community - Assist in the planning and execution of in-store events, workshops, and activations. - Support with local marketing initiatives and contribute ideas to help drive footfall and awareness. - Engage with local communities and networks to promote the store and its brands. Who You Are - You have proven experience in retail, ideally in a supervisory or floor management role. - You’re a natural leader who can confidently motivate, guide, and support a team to deliver their best every day. - You’re commercially minded, with an eye for opportunities to drive sales, increase conversion, and maximise store performance. - You take ownership of operational excellence - from stock management and health & safety to visual merchandising and customer experience. - You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment and are quick to adapt when challenges arise. - You’re passionate about storytelling and independent brands, and you bring that enthusiasm to every customer interaction. - You’re proactive, solution-oriented, and confident stepping up to take responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager.
