# Fire and Security Project Manager **WFP Electrical** · Stock CM4 9RS · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fire and Security Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of fire protection and security system projects. This role is vital in ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. As a key driver of project success, you will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Your energetic approach and meticulous attention to detail will help us maintain our reputation for excellence in fire and security systems management. The Role - Permanent - Office based when not out and about attending sites - 21 days annual leave, plus statutory bank holidays, plus your birthday off. Additional days annual leave added for every 3 years of service (currently capped at 5 additional days) - £45,000.00 - £55,000.00 annual salary dependant on experience - Company car provided after successful completion of a probation period. Temporary vehicle can be provided until then if required. Key Responsibilities - Review, plan and execute project installations, ensuring all technical specifications and standards are met. - Produce and issue risk and method statements (RAMS) and provide program of works. - Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide regular updates. - Ensure WFP installation and commissioning engineers, as well as subcontract engineers, have the necessary tools and software for their jobs. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting during installations. - Complete and issue any required variation quotes for additional works required outsideof the original scope of works. - Monitor project profit and loss, measure the improvement in the margin from the sales estimate to the completed project. - Provide certification, operation and maintenance literature. - Conduct post-installation reviews and address any issues/snagging to ensure client satisfaction. - Manage key client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and spotting potential technical errors or failures before they become customer complaints. - Conduct wash-up meetings to review what went well on the project and identify any issues. Propose fixes for future projects. - Ensure all the correct documentation is in place in accordance with the relevant British standards. - Assist sales team with producing project quotes and ensure tender documents are correctly reviewed prior to quotes being submitted. Requirements - Proven experience managing fire protection or security system projects from inception to completion. - Strong technical understanding of fire alarm and security systems. - Strong proficiency in project scheduling and resource management. - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects. - Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications related to fire safety systems and security infrastructure. - Exceptional communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and internal teams. - Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem solving. - Relevant certifications or training in fire safety systems or security management are a plus but not mandatory.
