To support our current team we now need an experienced fire alarm engineer who is confident commissioning Advanced panels, testing systems, completing surveys and finding faults. This is a fire alarm role. Security experience would be useful, but it is not essential. About the role You will work across several NHS sites around Frimley, Wexham and the surrounding region. Your work will include: Fire alarm servicing and testing Fault finding and repairs Commissioning Advanced fire alarm panels Carrying out surveys for remedial and installation work Producing clear service reports and survey information Supporting customers and other engineers with technical issues Working on systems including Advanced and other leading manufacturers We look after a wide range of clients, including healthcare, local authorities, schools, commercial premises and industrial sites. The work is varied and you will be joining a supportive team that takes pride in doing a proper job. Who we are looking for You should have: Strong fire alarm service and fault finding experience Experience commissioning Advanced fire alarm panels Confidence testing systems and carrying out site surveys The ability to work independently and manage your own jobs Good attention to detail when completing reports and paperwork A professional and friendly approach with customers A full UK driving licence Experience with Gent systems would be a real advantage, although it is not essential. Security experience covering intruder alarms, CCTV or access control would also be useful, but this is not a requirement for the role. Location This is a field based role covering Frimley, Wexham and the surrounding South East region. It would suit someone living around Camberley, Frimley, Wexham, Slough, Bracknell, Reading, Farnborough, Aldershot, Wokingham or elsewhere along the M3 and M4 corridor. What you will receive £36,000 to £45,000 basic salary, depending on experience Overtime paid at 1.5 times, including travel time Company car or van Fuel card Laptop, phone, tools and equipment provided 23 days holiday plus bank holidays Holiday buy back scheme Friday lunch allowance Wellness support programme Ongoing training and career progression Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm No domestic callouts Why join Lantern Lantern Fire and Security is a well established fire and security company with NSI Gold and BAFE accreditations.
