# Fire Alarm Engineer **Highland Alarms Ltd** · London · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 4 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Fire Alarm Engineers (x4) – London Highland Alarms | Full-time, permanent | £42,000 - £56,000 + overtime opportunities, company vehicle & fuel card We're growing our London team and looking for four experienced Fire Alarm Engineers to install, commission, service and maintain systems across a portfolio of commercial clients. What you'll be doing - Servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on fire alarm systems - Installing and commissioning new systems to BS 5839 as applicable - Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs - Completing service records, certificates and job sheets accurately (digitally) - Providing first-class customer service and spotting opportunities for remedials and upgrades - Participating in the on-call rota (paid) What we're looking for - Proven experience as a fire alarm engineer — multi-discipline experience is a big plus - Strong knowledge of addressable fire panels (e.g. Advanced, Gent, Kentec, C-Tec) - Experience of working with Global Fire Equipment desirable - Relevant qualifications (e.g. FIA units, NVQ Level 3 in Fire & Security, 18th Edition) desirable - ECS/CSCS card preferred - IPAF 3a, 3b, 1b preferred - Full UK driving licence - Able to pass BS 7858 security screening and a DBS check - Good knowledge of London and comfortable working across the M25 area - Experience of working with intruder alarm, emergency lighting, CCTV and access control systems advantageous What we offer - Competitive salary of £42,000 - £56,000 per annum, depending on experience - Paid overtime and on-call allowance - Company vehicle, fuel card, phone and tablet - 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays - Company pension - Ongoing manufacturer and industry training, with real routes to progression - Uniform, PPE and quality tools provided How to apply Send your CV to recruitment@highlandalarms.com Closing date: 30 October 2026 Highland Alarms is an equal opportunities employer.
