Financial Planning Associate

Role Description The Financial Planning Associate is a part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves supporting the development and review of financial plans for students and graduates, including budgeting, savings strategies, and long-term financial goals. The associate will assist with retirement and estate planning guidance, prepare financial summaries and reports, and help maintain accurate client records. Day-to-day tasks include conducting financial analyses, organizing information sessions or workshops, responding to inquiries, and collaborating with Career Center staff to integrate financial literacy into broader career development programs.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning skills, including experience with personal budgeting and goal-based financial strategies.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, assess options, and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Retirement Planning principles, such as long-term savings, investment considerations, and risk management.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with Estate Planning concepts, including asset transfer, beneficiary designations, and basic legal considerations.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to explain financial concepts clearly, conduct workshops, and interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or coursework in finance, economics, business, or a related field are preferred; professional certifications in financial planning are an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in supporting students and early-career professionals, with a commitment to ethical financial guidance and continuous learning.
