In addition to our commitment to expanding into other regions within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), we are diligently developing the NT.Wallet mobile application, further enhancing our suite of offerings . Job Overview The Financial Controller directs and manages all accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition. The role is responsible for compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, budgets, and forecasts, as well as any other reports required, and for presenting results and action plans to the General Manager once reports are finalised. Working closely with each department head, the Financial Controller helps the company achieve its profitability targets while keeping the business plan aligned with established budgetary guidelines. Key Responsibilities : · Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial statements, including the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement, with full reconciliation of expenses and liabilities in line with IFRS and applicable accounting standards. · Monitor and analyse monthly operating results against the budget, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions. · Conduct continuous audits of all company accounts, records, and transactions. · Prepare and review detailed monthly bank reconciliations. · Verify prepaid expenses and deferred charges, ensuring all schedules are up to date and agree with the financial books. · Administer credit and collection policies and procedures to maximise cash flow. · Supervise the purchasing function to ensure proper procedures and controls are in place. · Review and approve payroll. · Negotiate service, tenancy, and outsourcing contracts. · Maintain a register of all company physical assets and act as custodian of company assets. · Conduct physical inventory counts of terminals, furniture, computers, and engineering items. · Conduct and attend weekly business reviews, monthly strategic financial meetings, management meetings, and other meetings as required. · Develop and train the finance team through coaching and internal and external training programmes, in coordination with HR, and conduct timely performance appraisals with constructive feedback. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. · Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA is preferred. · Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in financial management. · Strong leadership and people-management skills, with proven experience leading a team of accountants and finance professionals. · Demonstrated ability to prepare and manage budgets and contribute to strategic financial planning. · Solid knowledge of IFRS and UAE tax regulations, including VAT and Corporate Tax. · Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to resolve financial challenges and support sound decision-making. · Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems, with advanced spreadsheet skills. · Experience with financial modelling and data analysis tools is an advantage. Skills Set · Knowledge of accounting standards and experience in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and tax laws. · Understanding of the company's financial goals and the ability to develop strategies to achieve those objectives.
