Financial Controller
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance. Needs to have experience with accounting in the CONSTRUCTION field. Responsibilities: - Manage all accounting operations including General Ledger reconciliation and Balance Sheet reconciliation - Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory reporting requirements - Oversee financial transactions, including payroll and accounts payable/receivable - Implement and maintain accounting software systems like QuickBooks - Conduct technical accounting research and provide recommendations - Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts - Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities - Perform Debits/Credits analysis to ensure accuracy Skills: - Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles - Ability to forecast and conduct strategy based on upcoming bills, income, sales patterns, etc. - Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks - Experience with Balance Sheet reconciliation and General Ledger reconciliation - Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements - Ability to handle payroll processes effectively Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of Debits/Credits principles - Experience in managing payroll functions If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial management and possess the required skills, and are up for the challenge, we invite you to apply for this challenging position.
