Responsibilities Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns with precision and compliance, ensuring all deadlines are met. Conduct thorough account reconciliations using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and others to maintain accurate financial records. Analyze financial statements and data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement. Assist with budgeting processes by compiling data, forecasting expenses, and supporting financial planning initiatives. Manage accounts payable processes, verifying invoices, processing payments, and maintaining vendor records efficiently. Perform audits on financial records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory standards. Support investment analysis by reviewing portfolios, tracking performance metrics, and providing detailed reports for management review. Maintain comprehensive bookkeeping records using various accounting tools while ensuring data integrity across all systems. Reconcile accounts regularly to detect errors or irregularities promptly and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows and enhance overall efficiency in financial services delivery. Experience Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero or similar platforms. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately. Prior experience in auditing or financial review processes is highly desirable. Knowledge of tax preparation procedures for individuals or businesses is essential. Familiarity with accounts payable management and account reconciliation practices. Understanding of investment principles and financial services industry standards is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines. Basic understanding of payroll processing and budgeting techniques is advantageous.
