# Finance Supervisor/ Team Lead **E-City General Trading LLC** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Overview Responsible for supervising daily accounting operations, reviewing financial transactions and reconciliations, overseeing month-end closing activities, monitoring VAT compliance, and ensuring the accuracy and timely completion of financial reports. Key Responsibilities Accounting Supervision Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of accountants and finance staff. Review accounting entries, reconciliations, invoices, and supporting documents. Review bank, customer, supplier, cash, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations. Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash collections, and outstanding balances. Review petty cash and payment transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance. Ensure discrepancies are investigated and resolved on a timely basis. Financial Reporting & Closing Review monthly financial schedules and management reports. Supervise month-end and year-end closing activities. Review accruals, provisions, balance sheet schedules, and account reconciliations. Analyze financial results and identify significant variances or irregularities. Ensure accounting records are complete and accurate before submission to the Finance Manager. VAT & Tax Compliance Review VAT workings, reconciliations, and supporting documentation. Ensure proper VAT treatment of financial transactions. Monitor VAT compliance and filing requirements. Coordinate with tax consultants and provide required information. Support Corporate Tax-related activities as required. MIS & Financial Analysis Review MIS reports covering sales, purchases, receivables, payables, expenses, cash flow, and profitability. Analyze actual results against budget and identify significant variances. Provide financial information and analysis to the Finance Manager. Audit & Compliance Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required schedules and documentation. Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls. Review outstanding audit items and coordinate corrective actions. Team Management Assign and monitor tasks within the finance team. Review staff performance and work quality. Provide guidance and support to accountants. Identify training and development requirements. Ensure finance activities are completed within agreed timelines. Key Performance Indicators Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports. Timely completion of reconciliations and month-end closing. Reduction of outstanding accounting discrepancies. Accuracy and compliance of VAT submissions. Timely completion of audit requirements. Team productivity and task completion. Compliance with internal controls and finance policies. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Relevant UAE finance/accounting experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT. Previous supervisory or team-lead experience. Strong Excel and accounting system skills. Good financial analysis and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership skills.
