Finance Manager (Full Set Accounting & Treasury)
Roles & Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting Lead and oversee the company’s full-set accounting and financial management functions, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing, and financial reporting. Prepare and review management accounts, financial reports, budgets, forecasts and financial analysis to support management decision-making. Monitor the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial information and provide meaningful financial insights and recommendations to Management. Identify financial risks and provide timely advice on financial, accounting and compliance matters. Treasury & Banking Oversee cash flow and treasury management, including cash flow forecasting, cash planning, funding requirements and payment arrangements. Manage the company’s banking activities and maintain effective relationships with banks and other financial institutions. Act as the key finance contact for banking, financing and other treasury-related matters. Monitor the company’s liquidity position and ensure sufficient funding is available to support business operations. Payment & Internal Controls Oversee payment processes and ensure payments are properly reviewed, approved, processed and recorded in accordance with internal controls and approval policies. Establish, implement and continuously improve finance policies, accounting procedures, internal controls and financial processes. Ensure appropriate controls are in place to safeguard company assets and maintain the integrity of financial records. Tax, Audit & Regulatory Compliance Oversee GST, corporate income tax, statutory filings and other finance-related regulatory reporting requirements. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and other professional service providers. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements and statutory obligations. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management Act as a key finance business partner to Management, providing financial insights and practical recommendations to support business decisions and business development. Work closely with internal stakeholders, the Group, banks, auditors, tax advisors and other external parties on finance-related matters. Support Management in evaluating financial implications, risks and opportunities arising from business activities. Perform other finance-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent are preferred. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, with substantial experience in a Finance Manager or similar finance leadership role. Strong hands-on experience in full-set accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, treasury, taxation, statutory compliance and internal controls . Prior experience managing banking relationships and handling corporate banking or financing matters. Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial information into practical business recommendations. Experience in a trading, commodities, energy or other corporate environment will be an advantage. Strong integrity, professional ethics and sense of responsibility, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Management, internal stakeholders and external parties. Fluent in English and Chinese , both written and spoken, as the role requires frequent communication with English- and Chinese-speaking stakeholders and the preparation and proofreading of official documents and presentations in both languages.
