Finance Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a Dubai-founded luxury fashion and lifestyle brand with retail, e-commerce and production operations, is expanding across the GCC, Europe and international markets. They are seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to lead reporting, cash-flow planning, controls and performance analysis across their entities and stores.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

REPORTING, PLANNING & CASH

Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close; prepare consolidated and entity-level management accounts.

Own the annual budget, rolling forecasts and weekly/monthly cash-flow projections.

Present financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and senior management.

Manage liquidity, working capital, AP/AR, banking and payment approvals.

Coordinate statutory audits across jurisdictions.

STORE & COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE

Produce store-level P&L and analyse performance by market, store, channel and category.

Evaluate new store proposals – fit-out, break-even, payback and downside scenarios.

Support decisions on underperforming stores, pricing, markdowns and promotions.

CONTROLS, INVENTORY & TEAM

Strengthen POS, cash/card settlement, refund, discount and capex controls.

Oversee inventory accounting, stock counts, provisions and landed product costing.

Oversee tax, VAT and compliance; improve ERP processes and speed of close.

Lead, coach and review the finance team.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

8–10 years of finance experience, including managing a finance function or team.

Strong background in multi-store retail.

Proven experience in management accounts, budgets, cash-flow forecasts and store profitability analysis.

Solid knowledge of inventory accounting, product costing, internal controls and audit.

Multi-entity and cross-border experience, including intercompany and foreign currency.

Strong Excel and ERP skills.

Sound commercial judgment and attention to detail.

Excellent written and spoken English.

PREFERRED:

ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent qualification.

Fashion, luxury, consumer goods or production experience.

Arabic-speaking is an advantage.
