Job Purpose The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls. The role ensures accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, effective cost management, and timely financial information to support business decisions and the company's financial objectives. 2. Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. - Monitor financial performance, profitability, cash flow, and working capital. - Prepare financial analysis, forecasts, and reports for senior management. - Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities. - Prepare annual budgets in coordination with department heads and senior management. - Monitor project budgets, costs, revenue, and profitability. - Coordinate with project managers, estimation, procurement, and production teams to control project expenditure. - Monitor material costs, subcontractor expenses, labour costs, and other project-related expenses. - Ensure accurate allocation of project costs and revenue. - Manage daily cash flow, bank balances, and short-term funding requirements. - Monitor accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely collections and payments. - Monitor customer credit limits, outstanding balances, and overdue payments. - Supervise customer invoicing, payment follow-ups, supplier invoices, and payment processing. - Ensure appropriate approval procedures are followed before payments are released. - Ensure compliance with applicable UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and other relevant financial regulations. - Monitor financial risks, potential fraud, and irregular transactions. - Supervise payroll accounting and ensure accurate recording of salary expenses. - Coordinate with HR on payroll, employee benefits, leave provisions, end-of-service benefits, and other employee-related liabilities. - Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely submission of required documents. - Supervise and guide the Finance and Accounts team. - Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance. - Establish clear reporting deadlines and accounting procedures. - Train team members and improve the overall efficiency of the finance function. - Promote accuracy, accountability, confidentiality, and professional conduct. Qualifications & Experience - Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. - Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent qualification is preferred. - Minimum 7–10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including at least 3–5 years in a managerial role. - Experience in project-based, manufacturing, production, construction, or contracting businesses is highly preferred. - Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. - Proven experience in budgeting, cash flow forecasting, project costing, and financial controls. Pay: AED5,600.00 - AED23,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
