[1, 2]Key Responsibilities Budgeting and Forecasting: Build annual budgets, run financial forecasts, and monitor cash flow. Financial Reporting: Prepare clear monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for executive leadership. Compliance and Controls: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal financial regulations and manage internal accounting controls. Cost and Risk Management: Identify opportunities for cost savings and evaluate financial risks. Audit Coordination: Lead interactions with internal and external auditors. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor accounting and finance staff.
