Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis. Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results and provide insights to management. Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and business objectives. Ensure proper recording and reconciliation of financial transactions. Budgeting & Forecasting Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budget and investigate significant variances. Provide recommendations to improve profitability, cost efficiency, and financial performance. Develop financial models and analysis to support business decisions. Cash Flow & Treasury Management Monitor cash flow, working capital, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Ensure sufficient cash availability to meet operational and financial obligations. Manage cash flow forecasts and recommend appropriate funding or cash management strategies. Monitor collections and payment schedules to optimize working capital. Accounting & Compliance Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll-related accounting, and bank reconciliations. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government agencies as required. Ensure timely submission of tax returns, financial reports, and other statutory requirements. Maintain proper financial records and documentation. Internal Controls & Risk Management Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. Monitor compliance with company policies and approval procedures. Review financial processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and control. Assist in internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Business Support & Analysis Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for business decisions. Evaluate investments, projects, capital expenditures, and other financial initiatives. Analyze profitability by product, customer, business unit, or project as applicable. Support management in cost-control and business-improvement initiatives. Provide financial insights for pricing, procurement, inventory, and operational decisions. Team Leadership Supervise, develop, and evaluate finance and accounting personnel. Establish clear responsibilities, performance objectives, and work standards for the finance team. Provide coaching and training to ensure continuous improvement. Promote accuracy, accountability, confidentiality, and ethical financial practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 5–8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting , with managerial or supervisory experience. CPA qualification is an advantage, depending on company requirements. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and internal controls. Experience with ERP/accounting systems and financial reporting tools. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
