Permanent, Full-time Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. Full Job description A&B Containers Ltd is a well-established, family-run business operating over six sites in Trafford Park. We are seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function, financial compliance, and payroll. This is a senior, hands on role based at our Head Office and reporting to the Directors. What You will Do . Take responsibility for all financial compliance and reporting. Including tax, VAT, payroll pensions and other statutory or regulatory returns. . Produce and present timely monthly management accounts, financial reports including monthly cash flow forecasts. . Lead and develop the finance team, maintaining effective processes, controls, and procedures across the business. . Manage and reviews Utility contracts for all sites. . Monitor cashflow and working capital. . Take overall responsibility for the accurate and timely production of weekly payroll. . Prepare for annual audits and manage relationship with external accountants, auditors, and professional advisors. What we are looking for - Financial qualification or qualified by experience. Able to demonstrable experience in a senior finance role. - Experience of managing a finance function, producing management accounts, managing cash flow, and supporting year-end accounts and audit activity. - Strong knowledge of financial controls, VAT, payroll, PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, and statutory compliance. - Experience of leading or supervising a finance team and collaborating with Directors and external advisers. - Strong commercial awareness, analytical ability, sound judgement, and attention to detail. - Advanced communication and people skills. - Strong Microsoft Excel skills and Sage 50 Accounts package and confidence using Pay: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year Benefits: - Casual dress - Company pension - Free parking - On-site parking Work Location: In person
