Finance Director

Hays is working with a leading diversified group who are launching a new lifestyle and wellbeing venture. They need a commercially minded finance leader to take it from concept to a scalable, profitable business.

What you’ll do

• Shape the launch: the three-year business plan, the operating model, and the milestones that turn the vision into a working business
• Own the numbers: financial models, budgets, forecasts and KPIs, plus unit economics such as acquisition cost, retention and margins
• Set the commercial strategy, including pricing, segmentation, partnerships and routes to market, tested through pilots before scaling
• Run M&A on Board-identified opportunities, from assessment and due diligence through valuation, structuring and post-deal integration
• Present investment cases and recommendations to the CEO and Board
• Put governance and risk frameworks in place early, then build and lead a lean cross-functional team

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years across commercial finance, M&A and strategy, with the last 5 in leadership
• A track record of launching or scaling a new business, venture or service line
• Hands-on deal experience covering due diligence, valuation, execution and integration
• UAE experience is essential
• Bachelor’s degree minimum. MBA, CFA or ACCA preferred
