The role provides management with valuable financial insights to support strategic decision-making through budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and performance monitoring. The position also leads, mentors, and develops the accounting team to promote operational efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement. Job Responsibilities: 1. Financial Reporting & Closing a. Oversee accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. b. Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. c. Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing. d. Coordinate external audits and address audit requirements. 2. Financial Planning & Analysis a. Lead budgeting and forecasting activities. b. Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights. c. Monitor costs, profitability, and overall financial performance. d. Support Management in financial decision-making. 3. Accounts Payable & Receivable a. Oversee AP and AR operations. b. Review disbursements, collections, and intercompany transactions. c. Monitor receivables aging and collection performance. 4. Cash Flow & Treasury a. Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital. b. Oversee bank reconciliations and cash reporting. c. Manage banking facilities and financial obligations. 5. Inventory & Cost Accounting a. Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, and costing. b. Ensure accurate landed cost and inventory reconciliation. c. Monitor costs and identify efficiency opportunities. 6. Tax & Regulatory Compliance a. Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. b. Oversee tax filings and statutory reports. c. Coordinate with government agencies and external consultants. 7. Internal Controls & Risk Management a. Maintain effective internal controls and policy compliance. b. Identify financial risks and implement corrective actions. c. Coordinate audits and monitor resolution of audit findings. 8. Systems & Process Improvement a. Improve accounting processes and workflows. b. Promote automation and effective use of accounting and ERP systems. 9. Leadership & Team Management a. Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team. b. Set performance objectives and monitor results. c. Delegate responsibilities effectively and ensure team productivity. Qualifications: Degree in Accountancy / Finance or equivalent (CPA preferred) At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience in a construction, manufacturing, or trading industry Knowledge of Philippine tax laws and compliance requirements In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation Experienced in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Pay: Up to Php80,000.00 per month Benefits: Additional leave Company Christmas gift Health insurance Life insurance Application Question(s): How many years of accounting experience do you have?
