Finance Manager – Bahrain Job Location: Bahrain Job Type: Full-time | In-person Experience: 8+ years Industry: Financial Services / Multi-Entity Business Group Job Overview We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to lead and oversee financial operations across multiple business units and entities in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, financial analysis, compliance, internal controls, and risk management . Experience in the financial services industry is preferred. However, candidates with strong finance leadership experience in Technology/IT, Manufacturing, Engineering, FMCG, Retail, or other multi-entity organizations are encouraged to apply. Industry-specific knowledge can be developed on the job, so we are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate strong financial management and business partnering capabilities. Key Responsibilities Manage and consolidate financial reporting across multiple entities and business units. Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash-flow management. Monitor financial performance, profitability, costs, working capital, and cash positions. Develop financial models, forecasts, business plans, and performance analyses. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, taxation, financial, and regulatory requirements. Establish and strengthen internal financial controls, policies, and procedures. Identify and manage financial and operational risks. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team across different business units. Work closely with senior management on financial strategy, investments, business planning, and growth initiatives. Liaise with external auditors, banks, financial institutions, regulators, and other stakeholders. Coordinate audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit observations. Drive cost optimization, process improvements, automation, and finance transformation initiatives. Evaluate new business opportunities and investments from a financial perspective. Adapt financial processes and reporting to meet the requirements of different business units and industries. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field . CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred. Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting. At least 3 years of experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Finance role . Strong experience in: Financial reporting Budgeting and forecasting Cash-flow and working-capital management Financial analysis and modeling Cost and profitability analysis Internal controls and compliance Risk management Experience managing finance functions across multiple entities, branches, departments, or business units . Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in accounting/ERP systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Strong commercial and business partnering mindset. Financial Services experience is preferred. Candidates from Technology or Manufacturing backgrounds will be particularly valued if they have experience with: Complex or multi-entity financial operations Financial controls and reporting Budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling Cost control and profitability analysis Working-capital and cash-flow management ERP implementation or optimization Finance process automation and digital transformation Business planning and investment analysis Working closely with senior management Preferred Experience Experience working in a group or multi-entity organization . Experience managing finance across businesses operating in different industries. Strong exposure to financial modeling, investment analysis, and business planning. Experience with ERP systems and finance automation. Experience dealing with auditors, banks, regulators, and other external stakeholders.
