# Field Technician **Pure Maintenance UK** · Caterham · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role About us Pure Maintenance UK is the UK's premium mould remediation service. We use a patented two-step dry fog process, that treats a whole home in a single day and resetting it to a normal, healthy fungal ecology while also sanitising bacteria and viruses. Homeowners and landlords call us when they smell or see mould. We diagnose, quote, and treat. We're a fast-growing business building a national footprint from our head office in Daventry. We're not the cheapest. We're the only company treating mould as an environmental-health problem and the person who walks through our clients' front door has to reflect that. The job in one line Be the person in the client's home on treatment day. Inspect, test, treat, and explain so every job is done safely, thoroughly, and to a standard that earns the review. Why this role matters Our technicians are the face of the company. Sales wins the job; you deliver it. For most clients, you are the only person from Pure Maintenance they'll ever meet in person, and the day you spend in their home decides whether they leave a five-star review, refer a neighbour, or call someone else next time. This isn't a general maintenance or cleaning job. It's a technical, field-based role: you inspect, measure, and document before you treat, you run our dry-fog process to a precise standard, and you prove the result with before-and-after air testing. You'll work independently on the road, with your own company vehicle, and you'll be trusted to run the day without someone checking over your shoulder. What you'll own Inspection & reporting: before anything is treated - Carry out a full pre-treatment inspection of every client's home - Produce a clear, accurate inspection report on the day of treatment - Test the air before and after our process using our air testing equipment, so every job ends with proof Treatment & safety: the process, done properly - Deliver our two-step dry fog treatment to the standard set by our process, every time - Wear and use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided at all times, no exceptions - Solve problems on site quickly and calmly, without leaving the client to wait or worry The client's day: you're their point of contact - Arrive on time, every time - Explain the process in plain English, answer their questions, and stay their point of contact from arrival to sign-off - Leave the home, and the client, in a better state than you found them Head office, kit & vehicle - Keep Head Office and the sales team updated throughout the day - Run regular inventory audits and place orders with Head Office so you never run short of resources or materials - Look after your company vehicle, which you keep at home What you won't own - Selling : our sales team wins the job and agrees the quote before you arrive - Scheduling : Head Office books your diary and routes your jobs - Marketing and reviews follow-up : handled centrally; your job is to earn the review, not chase it Must-haves - Full UK driving licence: preferably clean. You'll be on the road every day - Practical, hands-on experience: You've done real work with your hands — in a trade, a technical service, or a field role — and you're comfortable with equipment and process - Technically minded: You want to understand why the process works, not just follow the steps. You can read a moisture or air-quality reading and know what it means - Great with people: You can walk into a worried client's home, put them at ease, and explain something technical in plain English - A self-starter who thrives working alone: No one is standing over you on site. You manage your day, your kit, and your standards on your own - Attention to detail: You notice the patch of damp others miss, and you don't cut corners on PPE, testing, or clean-up - Solid documentation skills: Your inspection reports are accurate, clear, and done on the day - Reliable and punctual: On time, every time - UK-based: eligible to work in the UK Nice-to-haves - Experience in surveying, water-damage repair, or dehumidification - Background in damp, mould, restoration, or another home-services trade - Familiarity with air-quality or moisture testing equipment Filter-out signals (don't apply if) - You need someone on site telling you what to do next - You see paperwork and reporting as optional extras rather than part of the job - You're not comfortable spending most of your working day on the road - You'd rather keep your head down than talk to clients Compensation + terms - £28,600–£45,000 per year , depending on experience and performance - Generous performance-related monthly bonus, plus additional bonus and commission opportunities - Overtime paid at time-and-a-third (+33%) - Weekend and bank holiday work paid at double time (+100%) - Four weeks' fully paid holiday, plus additional leave - Company vehicle, kept at home - Company pension, life insurance, and private medical insurance - Sick pay and bereavement leave - Health and wellbeing programme, employee discount, cycle-to-work scheme, and referral programme - Casual dress and regular company events - Full-time, field-based: on the road across your region, with Head Office support from Daventry Job Type: Full-time Pay: £28,600.00-£45,000.00 per year Benefits: - Additional leave - Bereavement leave - Casual dress - Company events - Company pension - Cycle to work scheme - Employee discount - Free or subsidised travel - Health & wellbeing programme - Life insurance - On-site gym - On-site parking - Private medical insurance - Referral programme - Sick pay Work Location: On the road
