Field Operations Specialist

Pixel Sight is seeking a technically skilled, hands-on Field Operations Specialist with experience

working with complex technological systems.

You will lead field operations in Israel and internationally: field trials and system testing, pre-sales

support, customer demonstrations and training, installations and technical support.

The position requires strong technical expertise, independent real-time troubleshooting and

excellent communication with international customers and partners, together with a drive to

improve processes and build better tools. Alongside day-to-day field work, you will lead

improvements that build an independent, professional field team able to run complex trials,

installations and demonstrations.

Field trials and data collection

• Lead the operational execution of field trials: technical preparation, system operation, data

collection and test documentation

• Operate drones for trials and data collection used to improve detection algorithms
• Improve trial preparation, data collection and results documentation; develop methods and

tools for running complex trials efficiently

Pre-sales, demonstrations and training

• Support pre-sales activities together with Customer Solutions: technical presentations, customer

meetings, proofs of concept and answers to technical questions

• Build standard demo scenarios and professional training materials in English
• Deliver technical and operational training to customers and installers, including training in

English

• Develop and update training materials, user guides and field best-practice documents

Installation and support

• Run site surveys before installation
• Prepare, configure, calibrate, install and operate systems in a range of field environments
• Perform installations, functional testing, commissioning and system handover at customer sites,

and improve these processes over time

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software and communication issues in real time, on site or

remotely

• Provide technical and operational support during field activities and after installation, including

level 3 field support on service tickets

• Plan equipment, vehicles, site access and permits for field events
• Build standard work procedures and checklists for system preparation, field activities and event

debriefs

• Work with Engineering, Software and other teams to resolve technical issues

Requirements:

Must have

• 2+ years of hands-on experience operating, testing, integrating or supporting complex

technological systems, including field deployments, demonstrations or trials

• Practical engineer or B.Sc. in electronics, electro-optics, mechanics, computer or

systems engineering, or equivalent experience

• Strong technical understanding of hardware, software, networking and communication systems
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
• Excellent written and spoken English, including professional customer presentations and

technical training

• Strong presenatstion skils in Hebrew and English
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in dynamic and harsh field conditions; strong

interpersonal skills

• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel to field trials, experiments and customer sites in Israel

and abroad

• Willingness to work occasional nights and irregular hours, according to field trial and customer

needs

• Physically able to move and set up field equipment.
