This role oversees crew scheduling, quality control, production, hiring, training, equipment, and client satisfaction while identifying enhancement sales opportunities and driving profitability. This is a full-time, year-round position. During the winter, you’ll oversee snow operations, perform site inspections, assist crews between sites, operate snowplows as needed, and conduct early morning salt and weather checks. Additional compensation for winter storm operations will be discussed during the interview process. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate crews engaged in lawn care, landscape maintenance, hardscaping construction projects, and groundskeeping activities. Manage daily operations including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control to ensure timely project completion. Oversee the operation of grounds maintenance equipment, landscaping tools, irrigation systems, and company vehicles with a focus on safety and efficiency. Lead team management efforts by providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to cultivate a skilled and motivated workforce. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies across all job sites. Identify plant species for landscape design or maintenance needs; troubleshoot irrigation issues; oversee hardscape installations such as patios or retaining walls. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to coordinate project timelines, scope changes, and service expectations. Requirements 3+ years of landscape maintenance and leadership experience. Proven experience in outdoor work environments with a strong background in lawn care, landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance. Demonstrated supervising experience with team management responsibilities in landscaping or hardscaping projects. Knowledge of plant identification, irrigation management, hardscape construction techniques, and groundskeeping equipment operation. Ability to operate company vehicles safely and efficiently; valid driver’s license required. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in project execution and safety compliance. Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; experience with outdoor equipment handling is essential. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
