We partner with municipalities, community organizations, and funding agencies to bridge the digital divide. As we expand our broadband infrastructure in Long Island, we are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead our efforts. We are seeking a dynamic Field Operations Manager to lead and oversee the projects and the technicians from in-office. This pivotal role involves managing crews, coordinating schedules and plans, and ensuring the highest standards of broadband construction and customer service installs are upheld. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, quick thinking, and a love for planning. Duties - Lead and supervise multiple crews engaged in broadband installations and repairs for customer appointments and job-site construction. - Coordinate daily schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines and quality standards. - Work with project managers to prepare materials, fleet logistics and each day's plan - Identify issues and solutions to further progress. - Ensure safety protocols are followed rigorously during all activities and equipment operation. - Manage company vehicle operations for transportation of crews and equipment between job sites. - Know all plans and facilitate communication with technicians and other departments. - Maintain detailed records of project progress, crew performance, equipment maintenance logs, and safety reports. Skills - 3+ years of experience in telecommunications, broadband, fiber, or field operations - Strong understanding of broadband construction, fiber/coax installation, and network infrastructure - Experience managing or coordinating field technicians and construction crews - Knowledge of customer installations, service calls, troubleshooting, and repairs - Ability to dispatch, schedule, and coordinate technicians based on project priorities and customer needs Join us as a Field Operations Manager if you’re passionate about overseeing successful and meaningful operations.
