Field Operations Manager C&P Installations Full-Time About the Position C&P Installations is seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to oversee our field operations, Foremen, Team Leaders, and installation crews. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, professionally, on schedule, and to our customers' expectations. The Field Operations Manager will serve as the primary management connection between Company Ownership and our field teams. This individual will regularly communicate with Foremen, visit active job sites, monitor project progress, coordinate manpower and scheduling, help resolve field issues, and meet with customers when necessary. We are looking for someone who understands field operations, knows how to lead people, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and is comfortable making day-to-day operational decisions. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and support Foremen, Team Leaders, and field installation crews Oversee the day-to-day execution of active installation projects Monitor project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, productivity, and completion dates Coordinate crew assignments and manpower needs with Company Ownership and Foremen Conduct regular and as-needed visits to active job sites Review job-site progress, organization, safety, quality, productivity, and overall conditions Ensure Foremen and crews have the materials, equipment, drawings, and information needed to complete their work Meet with customers, project managers, general contractors, and facility representatives when necessary Assist with resolving customer concerns and field-related issues Monitor Foreman Start of Day and End of Day reporting and ensure required reports are completed accurately and on time Promote and enforce Company safety policies and customer job-site requirements Monitor installation quality and help prevent rework and project delays Assist Foremen with problem-solving, leadership, communication, and employee development Identify opportunities to improve field productivity, scheduling, communication, safety, quality, and overall operations Provide Company Ownership with regular updates regarding project progress and significant operational concerns Qualifications Required Experience in field operations, construction, warehouse systems, material handling, pallet racking installation, or a related industry Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing Foremen, supervisors, crews, or field employees Strong understanding of job-site operations, scheduling, manpower planning, safety, and project execution Ability to read and understand project drawings, plans, specifications, and installation requirements Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple active projects and priorities simultaneously Professional customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly to customer job sites Preferred Commercial pallet rack or warehouse storage system installation experience Experience managing multiple field crews and Foremen OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training Experience working directly with customers, general contractors, project managers, and facility management Experience with project scheduling, manpower planning, and field reporting systems Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $70,000–$85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Work Environment This position requires regular travel to active customer job sites and work in warehouse, construction, and industrial environments. The Field Operations Manager must be comfortable walking and inspecting active job sites, wearing required PPE, and working around forklifts, aerial lifts, construction equipment, machinery, and installation operations. Some early mornings, evenings, weekends, or travel may be required depending on project and customer needs.
