We'd love to meet you! SIMMR is a new, chef-founded food brand based in the SF Bay Area. We make bold, flavorful Indian cooking bases that take the hard work out of making an incredible Indian dinner at home. We're looking for an enthusiastic, personable Brand Ambassador to be the face of SIMMR at farmers markets and pop-up events around San Francisco. This is a people-first role! You'll spend your shifts chatting with marketgoers, offering samples, sharing our story, and helping people discover something new. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys striking up conversations, connecting with strangers, and creating a fun, welcoming experience. What you'll do - Proactively engage with marketgoers, start conversations, and invite people to try SIMMR - Share our brand story and explain what makes our cooking bases special - Offer samples, answer questions, and help turn curious visitors into customers - Process purchases and keep the booth looking inviting and organized - Help with booth setup, breakdown, and maintaining a clean sampling area You'd be a great fit if you... - Love meeting people and feel comfortable initiating conversations with strangers - Bring positive energy, warmth, and enthusiasm to customer interactions - Can confidently talk about a product and help customers feel excited about trying it - Are dependable, punctual, and comfortable managing a booth independently - Enjoy food, cooking, and discovering new brands - Have retail, hospitality, sales, or event experience (a plus, not required!) The details - Pay: Pay: $20/hour + 4 % commission every sale - Perk: 15% employee discount on SIMMR products - Location: San Francisco farmers markets and pop-up events - Schedule: Occasional weekend shifts, primarily Sundays - Upcoming dates: November 1 and 8, with potential for future events - Hours: Approximately 5–7 hours per event, including setup and breakdown Interested?
