Factory Manager

Job Overview

Mineral Expertise is seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory Manager to oversee the daily operations of our marble and natural stone fabrication facility in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in marble processing, production planning, workforce management, quality control, and factory operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining high-quality standards, optimizing material utilization, and delivering orders in accordance with project specifications and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the marble and natural stone factory.
• Manage the cutting, CNC processing, edge profiling, polishing, finishing, and fabrication of marble, granite, porcelain, and other natural stone materials.
• Plan and monitor production schedules to meet project deadlines and delivery requirements.
• Supervise factory supervisors, machine operators, fabricators, polishers, and other production staff.
• Review shop drawings, cutting lists, material take-offs, and fabrication details to ensure accurate production.
• Coordinate with project managers, quantity surveyors, procurement, and site teams.
• Monitor material consumption, wastage, stock levels, and production costs.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure finished products meet approved drawings, samples, and project specifications.
• Ensure proper maintenance and efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
• Enforce health, safety, and housekeeping standards throughout the factory.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce wastage, and optimize operational costs.
• Prepare production reports and monitor factory performance against targets.

Requirements

• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in marble and natural stone fabrication, including factory management or production supervision.
• Strong technical knowledge of marble cutting, polishing, CNC machinery, edge finishing, and stone fabrication processes.
• Proven experience managing factory operations, production teams, and multiple project requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and cutting lists.
• Good knowledge of production planning, quality control, material utilization, and cost management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in the UAE construction, marble, or fit-out industry is highly preferred.
