Ltd. Location: Pelhar, Nalasopara East Department: Accounts & Finance Experience: 3–5 years, preferably in manufacturing Qualification: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent About the Role We are looking for a Factory Accountant to manage daily factory accounting, maintain accurate financial and inventory records, and coordinate with the Head Office Accounts, Purchase, Stores and Production teams. Key Responsibilities - Record purchase invoices, expenses, payments and other daily transactions in the accounting system. - Verify supplier bills against purchase orders and goods receipt notes before processing. - Maintain vendor ledgers and reconcile outstanding balances. - Handle petty cash, bank reconciliation and factory expense records. - Reconcile raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods with Stores and Production records. - Support product costing and track material consumption, wastage and production expenses. - Prepare GST and TDS workings and support applicable filings with the Head Office Accounts team. - Verify labour contractor bills, attendance and supporting documents in coordination with HR. - Prepare monthly reports on expenses, inventory discrepancies and pending payments. - Maintain documentation and support audits and month-end closing. Required Skills - Proficiency in Tally Prime or a similar ERP and MS Excel. - Knowledge of GST, TDS, purchase accounting and inventory accounting. - Understanding of manufacturing accounts and basic product costing. - Strong attention to detail, integrity and coordination skills. Manufacturing or factory accounting experience will be preferred.
