Facility Operations Specialist - Alpha

Maintaining and optimizing campus facilities to ensure they are safe, functional, and inspiring for students and staff. Completing minor repairs and managing larger repairs by coordinating with vendors and evaluating quotes. Conducting routine facility inspections, including fire safety, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Troubleshooting basic technical issues, such as WiFi connectivity, device pairing, laptop repairs, and hardware replacement or warranty coordination. Proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize disruptions. Maintain the campus at a high standard, supporting a safe, efficient, and inspiring environment for students and staff. Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-efficient facility and technology support. Keep technology systems up-to-date and fully functional to support a cutting-edge learning experience. Able to work in-person in Miami, FL. Relocation assistance is available to help you join Alpha’s mission. Demonstrated ability to independently identify and complete minor repairs (e.g., minor plumbing issues, doors and locks, patching walls, replacing light fixtures). Proven experience managing vendor quotes for larger repairs. Hands-on experience conducting routine facility inspections (e.g., fire safety, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems). Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues (e.g., WiFi, laptop repairs, hardware connectivity). Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
