FACILITY ENGINEER - MECHANICAL

Job Description

Gulfcraft Trading & Services W.L.L. is seeking an experienced and qualified Mechanical Facility Engineer to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with strong experience in Facility Management operations, maintenance coordination, and FM software systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing facility operations, monitoring maintenance activities, evaluating technicians' performance, and ensuring efficient execution of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day facility management and maintenance operations.
• Operate and manage FM software systems such as CAFM, Yardi, CMMS, or similar platforms.
• Monitor and ensure effective implementation of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
• Prepare, review, and maintain PPM reports, site reports, and maintenance documentation.
• Evaluate technicians' performance and monitor their productivity and work quality.
• Coordinate with maintenance technicians and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Maintain accurate operational records and prepare regular reports.
• Ensure smooth facility operations and compliance with applicable maintenance standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of total professional experience .
• Minimum 4 years of Gulf experience .
• Previous experience in Facility Management (FM) is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with FM software such as CAFM, Yardi, CMMS, or equivalent systems.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Detailed technical knowledge of facility management operations and maintenance activities.
• Experience in technicians' performance evaluation, PPM monitoring, and site reporting.
• Strong coordination, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
