Facilities and Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our commercial properties, residential buildings, and staff accommodations.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in managing MEP, HVAC, Civil works, maintenance teams, and external contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise maintenance staff, manpower allocation, attendance, punctuality, and overtime.
• Oversee Civil, MEP, HVAC, ventilation, lifts, pumps, electrical, and plumbing maintenance.
• Handle daily maintenance complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns.
• Supervise AMC contractors and ensure compliance with contractual scope and approved BOQs.
• Manage renovation, refurbishment, interior, and minor civil works.
• Handle maintenance procurement, LPRs, spare parts, tools, and inventory.
• Monitor equipment performance and arrange replacement of unserviceable equipment.
• Oversee daily Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) operations and fresh water tank cleaning.
• Monitor water and electricity consumption and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain maintenance records and submit periodic reports.
• Coordinate with Administration, Security, and Safety departments.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Facilities Management.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in Facilities and Maintenance Management.
• Strong knowledge of MEP, HVAC, Civil, and building maintenance systems.
• Experience in managing maintenance teams, AMC contractors, and renovation projects.
• Knowledge of procurement, inventory control, and preventive maintenance.
• Good communication, leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE driving license and UAE experience is required.
