Conduct site visits to collect precise measurements, including distance, angles, and elevation. Work closely with senior surveyors to gather data for facade design and installation. Use surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS, laser scanners) to measure and record data accurately. Interpret and analyze survey data for the facade design team, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Maintain detailed records of survey results and assist in the preparation of survey reports. Perform calculations and produce technical drawings or sketches for facade construction. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of surveys in the facade industry. Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company protocols. Stay up to date with new surveying technologies and techniques. Qualifications and Experience Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in surveying, preferably within the façade, aluminium, glazing, or construction industry. Practical experience in building/façade surveys, site measurements, and as-built surveys is preferred. Basic knowledge of Total Station, GPS, laser distance meters, and 3D laser scanning equipment. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and façade drawings. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of surveying/CAD software is an advantage. Understanding of survey calculations, levels, coordinates, dimensions, and tolerances. Good communication and coordination skills with engineers, designers, surveyors, and site teams. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and documentation. Willingness to work on construction sites and travel to project locations as required.
