Altus is seeking an experienced Legal Collector to join our Legal Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal collections, third-party collections, and commercial account recovery. This role is responsible for managing delinquent commercial accounts, coordinating collection efforts related to litigation, working with attorneys and courts, and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The successful candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills, legal collections expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate with debtors, attorneys, clients, and court personnel while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
