The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and ERP-based accounting systems. Key Responsibilities l Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and ledger maintenance. l Handle bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations. l Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and schedules. l Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting-related compliances. l Manage vendor payments, customer receipts, expense booking, and invoice processing. l Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. l Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits. l Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for timely closure. l Verify invoices, supporting documents, and accounting entries for accuracy. l Maintain proper documentation and records as per company policies. l Work on ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Tally, or similar systems. l Support the Finance Manager / Accounts Head in budgeting, reporting, and other finance-related activities. Required Skills l Strong knowledge of Indian accounting principles and applicable accounting standards. l Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. l Hands-on experience in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software. l Strong knowledge of reconciliation and financial reporting. l Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. l Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. l Good communication and coordination skills. Candidate Profile l 5–10 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance. l M.Com is preferred; CA Inter / MBA Finance or higher qualification will be an added advantage. l Candidates from manufacturing / industrial / corporate accounting environments will be preferred. l Strong practical knowledge of accounting, taxation, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
