Job Summary The Operations Executive (Facilities Management Executive) manages daily school facilities operations, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance. This role coordinates maintenance, vendor services, event logistics, and supports a safe environment for students and staff. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of school facilities to ensure safe and functional learning and common spaces Coordinate maintenance and repair activities by liaising with vendors and service providers to maintain building systems and infrastructure Monitor and support compliance with safety, cleanliness, and regulatory standards for school premises Respond promptly and professionally to facility-related requests and feedback from staff and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction Maintain accurate records of inspections, servicing, and facility-related activities to support operational transparency Support school events by coordinating logistics such as room setups and equipment arrangements Monitor facility-related budgets to ensure cost-effective use of resources Prioritize tasks and work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet operational goals Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience in facilities or operations management within educational or similar environments Basic knowledge of workplace safety and health standards, with familiarity of Singapore regulations considered an advantage Diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Operations Management, or related discipline preferred Anglo-Chinese School (Academy) is a Special Education (SPED) school that is dedicated to provide a holistic education rooted in academic excellence, life skills and vocational preparation for both boys and girls, aged 7-18 years old who are on the autism spectrum and are cognitively able to access the national curriculum. Anglo-Chinese School (Academy) is the newest member of the Anglo-Chinese School (ACS) family and Singapore's first Methodist-established special education school offering the Ministry of Education national curriculum for students on the autism spectrum without intellectual impairment. We are currently operating at our interim site at 3 Teck Whye Crescent, Singapore 688845. In 2030/31, ACS (Academy) and ACS (Primary) will pioneer Singapore’s first integrated campus in Tengah, uniting mainstream and special education in a shared learning environment
