# Executive Assistant to the CEO **Opus Connect** · Ciudad de México, CDMX · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Executive Assistant to the CEO | Remote | Full-time | $2,350 USD Why Opus Connect This is a seat next to the person running the company, at a business small enough that what you do visibly matters. You will spend your days inside the CEO's calendar, his correspondence, and the automated outreach systems he uses to reach thousands of private equity and investment banking professionals. About half the job is classic executive support and half is running AI workflows that most assistants have never touched, which makes it a rare place to build a skill set that is genuinely hard to hire for right now. It suits someone who wants range rather than a fixed lane. The team is small, priorities move, and the scope of this role will look different in six months than it does on day one. If that sounds like a reason to say no, this is not the job. If it sounds like the interesting part, keep reading. About Opus Connect Opus Connect is a professional organization built around lower middle and middle market M&A. Our members are private equity investors, investment bankers, lenders, and advisors, more than 10,000 of them, and we exist to put the right two people in a room together at the right moment. We do that through curated one-on-one matching, summit events, roundtables, and a virtual deal sourcing platform. We are a small, distributed team, with a significant part of it already based in Mexico. The work is fast, the standards are high, and people here are trusted with real responsibility early. The role You will support the CEO directly, across two workstreams. The first is executive support in the traditional sense. You will manage his calendar and daily prioritization, handle correspondence, and act as the point of contact between him and both internal colleagues and external members. A large part of this is holding onto the things he mentions once in passing and making sure they actually happen. The second is where this role differs from most EA jobs. The CEO runs a set of AI agents and automated workflows that support outbound communication to members and sponsors. You will check on them on a daily or twice-daily cadence, catch errors, stalls, and outputs that need a human eye before they go anywhere, and escalate anything ambiguous rather than guessing. Alongside that, you will run mail merge campaigns from the CEO's outreach account and, critically, execute the follow-up rounds. Campaigns go out today. The second and third rounds are what fall through, and closing that gap is one of the clearest measures of success in this role. You will also keep HubSpot and related documentation current, and provide backup to other admin functions when the team needs it. In about two months a colleague goes out on maternity leave, and you will take on several of those workflows during that period. What we are looking for: Fluent written and spoken English. You will draft and send messages to US-based executives, and speak with them. An accent is completely fine; hesitation in writing is not. Prior experience supporting an executive directly, and a completed four-year degree. Genuine hands-on comfort with AI tools. Not just asking ChatGPT to polish an email, but having set something up yourself and kept it running. Aptitude and curiosity matter more here than credentials. Experience with mail merge tools and a CRM. HubSpot is a plus, but you do not need deep fluency in it. Discretion. You will see member, sponsor, and business-sensitive information. Reliable equipment and internet, and a working day that overlaps United States business hours. Useful but not required: exposure to automation platforms like Zapier or Make, bilingual English and Spanish, and any background or interest in M&A, private equity, or membership organizations. What is in it for you $40,000 MXN per month (approximately $2,350 USD), plus a $2,500 MXN monthly healthcare stipend . Fully remote. Direct access to the CEO. You will see how a deal-driven business actually runs, and you will be in the room for it. Real ownership of the AI side. You will not be asked to follow someone else's playbook for these workflows. You will be the person who runs them, improves them, and knows when something is off. A role that grows with you. Scope here is set by what you prove you can handle, not by a job description written a year ago. If you are an executive assistant who has already started building your own systems and wants to work at the center of a small, fast-moving company, we would like to hear from you.
