Event Staffing and Recruitment Manager
The Role The Staffing & Recruitment manager is responsible for ensuring we have brilliant teams scheduled and booked on to deliver our high-quality events and services. You will maintain relationships with all our key talent pool and agencies to keep the very best individuals engaged and excited to work with Social Pantry. A key skill is ensuring jobs are booked within required margines will still delivering well operationally. You will fine, nurture and develop our pool of event operations talent – from serving staff, to bartenders to chefs. A keen skill and experience in recruitment and training is required. Previous event management experience is a must, so you know what you’re looking for in candidates and are able to jump in and support when needed. Roles and Responsibilities Staffing Operations · Recruitment and management of all event staff across Social Pantry Events. This includes both agency staff and freelance teams. And providing advice or support to venue staffing teams. · Work with multiple staffing agencies to ensure appropriate resources are scheduled for each event. · Attend weekly operational meetings to discuss future events and required bookings; and review past events and feedback · Processing staff timesheets and reconciling against client invoicing, for both agency staff and freelance event managers. · Manage and collate staffing feedback, acting on it as necessary with appropriate actions · Submission of weekly forecast targets and savings against labour budget on an event-by-event basis, enabling gross profit targets and budgets to be met on a monthly basis. · Ensure quoting on internal systems is correct for all events to hit the required margin and cross check all planner job sheets · Take on site visits when necessary to understand event needs and be present on events where a coordinator is required for sign in or management purposes · Support event operations when necessary Employee Engagement and Agency Management Maintain accurate and up to date records for all casual, freelance and agencies and recruitment trackers Ensure that all policies and procedures of the company are adhered to Manage and build strong relationships with all external suppliers and agencies Ensure all staff complete and attend any/all training required by them -• Organise and deliver regular training sessions throughout the year for various levels of employees to ensure brand knowledge and standards and operational skillsets are at the required level Recruitment Build and maintain strong talent pipeline through all of Social Pantry’s channels and partners Facilitate onboarding process to ensure a smooth and informed induction to the business Work closely with the Operations Team and People Director to ensure that our recruitment and selection for temporary and permanent job roles, freelancers/contractors, staffing for events are suitable for each role they are in Job Type: Full-time Pay: £40,000.00-£42,000.00 per year Benefits: Company events Company pension Employee discount Employee mentoring programme Referral programme Sick pay Ability to commute/relocate: London SW11 3SS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: Events management: 4 years (preferred) Staff training: 1 year (preferred) Recruiting: 2 years (preferred) Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required) Work Location: In person
