Big Air Bolingbrook — a brand-new indoor trampoline park and family entertainment center — is looking for an Event Sales Manager to lead event bookings: birthday parties, school field trips, corporate events, fundraisers, church groups, daycare events, summer camps, and private buyouts. If you're a driven sales pro who loves closing deals, building client relationships, and hitting targets in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment, we want to hear from you. A large share of our customers are Spanish-speaking, so bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Sales & Revenue Respond to inbound leads (phone, email, text, walk-in, web, social) and convert them into booked events Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas and revenue targets Upsell party packages, catering add-ons, and event enhancements Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, follow-up, proposal, closing, contract Keep the booking calendar accurate and the pipeline organized (deposits, invoices, waivers) Re-engage past customers for repeat sales and referrals Business Development Build relationships with local schools, PTAs, churches, sports leagues, daycares, and summer camps to generate leads Develop corporate and group-event partnerships Represent Big Air at community and local marketing events Support bilingual sales materials for the local Spanish-speaking market Event Coordination Be the main point of contact for booked clients from sale through event day Coordinate guest counts, timelines, food orders, decorations, and dietary needs with the operations team Follow up post-event to drive reviews and repeat business Team Leadership Act as Manager on Duty during events, overseeing execution and guest experience Supervise Party Hosts and event staff Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally What We're Looking For Required 2+ years in sales, event sales, catering sales, hospitality sales, or another revenue-generating role Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Fluent in English and Spanish (Optional) Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills Able to manage multiple deals at once and stay organized under pressure Available evenings, weekends, and holidays Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM/booking software, and POS systems Preferred Experience in event sales, catering sales, hotel/banquet sales, or family entertainment center sales CRM and sales pipeline management experience Restaurant, banquet, or hospitality management background ServSafe Food Handler Certification CPR/First Aid Certification Experience selling or coordinating children's events or birthday parties Physical Requirements Able to stand and walk for extended periods Able to lift up to 40 lbs Comfortable in an active, fast-paced, guest-facing setting Why Join Big Air Competitive hourly pay plus monthly performance bonuses Uncapped commission tied to event sales performance Paid training Employee discounts Clear path to a full-time leadership role at park opening Join the founding team at one of Chicagoland's newest family entertainment destinations Big Air is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
