Event Manager

Job Description

Kefi Books & Coffee Shop L.L.C is looking for a creative, energetic, and well-organized Event Manager to plan and manage engaging events and experiences at our café. The ideal candidate will be passionate about event planning, customer engagement, and creating memorable experiences through workshops, book events, community gatherings, private events, and themed activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute events, workshops, book readings, networking sessions, and themed café activities.
• Develop creative event concepts to attract customers and build a strong community around Kefi.
• Coordinate with authors, artists, influencers, vendors, performers, and event partners.
• Manage event bookings, schedules, budgets, logistics, and on-site arrangements.
• Promote upcoming events through social media, collaborations, and community outreach.
• Coordinate with the marketing and café teams to ensure smooth event execution.
• Handle customer inquiries, registrations, guest lists, and private event bookings.
• Explore collaborations with brands, schools, book clubs, creators, and local communities.
• Monitor event performance, customer feedback, and attendance to improve future events.
• Ensure all events align with Kefi’s brand identity, atmosphere, and customer experience.
• Prepare event calendars, reports, and budgets for management review.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in event management, preferably in cafés, hospitality, lifestyle, or community-based events.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and unique event ideas.
• Experience in vendor coordination, event budgeting, and promotional activities.
• Knowledge of social media marketing and event promotion.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems, and work under pressure.
• Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with local communities and businesses.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during special events as required.
• Candidates with UAE experience and an existing network of event partners will be preferred.
