Design test strategy documents outlining the scope and timelines. Draft target test scenarios based on business requirement documents. Map business rules to specific source-totarget data validations. Establish the testing harness and select required automation tools. Data Architecture & SQL Development Review data models to understand relational database structures. Write complex SQL scripts to validate sourceto-target mapping. Build database views to simplify complex data verification tasks. Develop custom stored procedures and functions for automated checks. Review database triggers to ensure integrity constraints remain intact. Optimize slow-running test queries to speed up execution windows. ETL Validation & Platform Migration Validate source data quality before extraction processes begin. Verify data transformation logic against specified business rules. Confirm successful data loading into the target tables. Execute DB2 versus Cloudera data platform comparison reports. Audit comparison reports for data completeness and consistency. Test Execution & Defect Management. Execute manual and automated test scripts within strict timelines. Log identified data discrepancies in the bug tracking system. Troubleshoot complex query errors and performance bottlenecks. Retest resolved defects to confirm successful code fixes. Should have passed B.E./B. TECH in any stream/ MCA/ M.Sc. (IT) Plus 3 (Three) Years of experience as ETL Test Engineer OR B.Sc. / BCA /B.Com./BBA/ + 4 years of similar work experience after passing the degree from any recognized College/University duly approved by AICTE. AND Should have passed/ Should clear ITSQB Foundation Level within three months of joining or its equivalent.
