This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to manage your own projects, build relationships with customers and have a direct impact on project success. What you will be doing - Perform accurate material and labor takeoffs for custom casework. - Prepare and submit project estimates and proposals. - Manage awarded projects from preconstruction through completion. - Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and bid documents. - Prepare project shop drawings. - Project manage work progress. - Manage submittals, change orders and project documentation. - Work closely with customer project teams. vendors and our own shop. What we're looking for - Strong attention to detail. - Proficient with construction level math and geometry. - Effective customer service skills via email, phone and in person. - SketchUp or other design programs. - Communication and presentation skills. - Efficient with Excel. - BS degree in Engineering/Construction Management/Manufacturing/Interior Design/Architecture/Industrial Design or similar. - Previous experience with millwork, casework, estimating, or construction.
