The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing tender documents, performing quantity take-offs, obtaining supplier quotations, and preparing competitive commercial offers for waterproofing, insulation, and related construction works. Key Responsibilities * Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs. * Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for waterproofing and insulation works. * Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and overheads. * Obtain, evaluate, and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. * Prepare competitive and profitable quotations and tender submissions. * Analyze project requirements, scope of work, and technical specifications. * Coordinate with the technical, procurement, and project execution teams. * Identify exclusions, assumptions, risks, and potential variations. * Prepare cost breakdowns, rate analysis, and pricing summaries. * Follow up on submitted quotations and tender clarifications. * Maintain an updated database of material prices, labor rates, and subcontractor costs. * Ensure all quotations are submitted accurately and within deadlines. Qualifications & Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. * 3–5 years of experience in estimation and tendering within the construction industry. * Experience in waterproofing, insulation, or civil construction works is highly preferred. * Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, cost estimation, and rate analysis. * Good understanding of waterproofing systems, insulation materials, and construction methods. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant estimation software. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. * Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet tender submission deadlines. * Good command of written and spoken English. * Knowledge of UAE construction practices and local suppliers is an advantage. Preferred Experience * Basement and substructure waterproofing. * Raft foundation and retaining wall waterproofing. * Roof and wet-area waterproofing. * Torch-applied and self-adhesive membrane systems. * Cementitious and liquid-applied waterproofing systems. * Thermal insulation and protection systems. * Screed, protection boards, and associated civil works. Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
