Job Responsibilities: · Provides information by answering telephone queries and processing requests as appropriate · Relaying calls and referring inquiries to nursing staff or doctors · Encodes patient information into the Hospital Information System (HIS). · Secures patient information, making sure all hospital and health insurance- related forms are properly filled up and signed · Obtains health insurance cards, verifies and seeks approval for diagnostics, medications and other treatment. · Logs patients to the ER OPD and Admission logbook. · Processes discharge of OPD patients by providing and completing charges to settle bill · Maintains ER supplies/ inventory under the supervision and approval of nurses per shift · Provides schedule of decking of consultants . Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time. Will also process the Philhealth OECB.
