Epic Orders Analyst

We are seeking a senior Epic Orders Analyst to support clinical systems modernization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Epic technical build experience, expertise in clinical orders workflows, and the ability to analyze business requirements and deliver system configuration, integration, and workflow solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, modify, test, and administer complex business systems and applications in Epic environments.
• Analyze business and user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Configure and support screens, workflows, reports, interfaces, and system changes.
• Prepare functional and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues and service incidents.
• Support Epic technical configurations and integrations.
• Lead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for external vendors and resolve integration-related challenges.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare business systems analysis or a related technical role.
• 3+ years of hands-on Epic technical build experience.
• Strong understanding of clinical orders workflows and Epic systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience presenting system prototypes and functional models to business users.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Epic certification or proficiency in Orders, Order Transmittal, Order Sets, and/or ICON.
• Experience supporting Epic clinical systems modernization and technical integrations.
• Ability to collaborate across technical teams and clinical business stakeholders.
