# Environmental Manager – High-Rise Construction Project **NUCLEUS TRADING AND CONTRACTING** · Doha · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 2 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Description: We are seeking an experienced, technically sound Environmental Manager (10+ Years of experience) to lead environmental compliance, sustainability strategies, and auditing systems for a prominent high-rise building project in Doha, Qatar.The ideal candidate must possess an Engineering degree along with validated professional credentials to manage the technical complexities of vertical construction. You will serve as the primary focal point for all site environmental aspects, coordinating directly with project management, client representatives, and state regulatory authorities. Key Responsibilities: - CEMP & Regulatory Compliance: Oversee and implement the project’s Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) . Ensure 100% alignment with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) regulations. - Green Building Execution: Manage on-site implementation of GSAS (Global Sustainability Assessment System) construction practices to achieve the targeted project sustainability ratings. - ISO Frameworks: Establish, maintain, and continually audit the site’s Integrated Management System adhering strictly to ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) frameworks. - Technical Site Controls: Engineer and monitor specific mitigation systems for high-rise challenges, including deep-basement dewatering/groundwater management, structural acoustics, vertical waste management chutes, and heavy-machinery emission tracking. - Reporting & Incident Handling: Lead investigations for environmental incidents, perform root-cause analysis, execute corrective actions (CAPA), and submit technical compliance reports. Required Qualifications, Experience & Credentials: - Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering discipline) from a recognized university. (Must be fully authenticated and attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Qatar visa processing). - Professional Credentials: - MME / UPDA Certified Engineer (Grade A or B registration from Qatar's Ministry of Municipality is highly preferred/mandatory). - GSAS Certified Green Professional (CGP) designation is a distinct advantage. - Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in environmental management on major civil construction projects, with a proven track record specifically on high-rise building developments within Qatar or the GCC region . - Certifications (Mandatory): - Level 6 Environmental Qualification (e.g., NEBOSH International Diploma in Environmental Management or equivalent). - ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification (IRCA accredited).
