We're looking for a Voice, Data, Security (VDS) Engineer to join our Life Sciences North America Team. Location options include hybrid work out of either Conshohocken, PA, Cincinnati, OH, Indianapolis, IN, Cary, NC, Houston, TX, or Richmond, VA. You’ll thrive as you perform computer-aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for our client’s advanced facilities. Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit, you’ll create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files. Here's what you'll need - Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or any closely related Engineering Degree - 1 years' experience actively designing Communications/Security Systems (internship or professional experience accepted) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong interpersonal and time management skills - Self-motivation to coordinate with other disciplines and customers - Ability to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future Ideally, you’ll also have: - 3.0 GPA or higher - Local to one of our Life Sciences North America offices, without the need to relocate - Passed the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam· Familiarity with ANSI/TIA and BISCI standards - Familiarity with CSI Divisions 27 & 28 - AutoCAD design experience - Revit Design Experience - Exposure to NEC and electrical design requirements Posted Salary Range: Minimum 65,500.00 Posted Salary Range: Upper 990,000.00 Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
