JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Tax Staff Accountant to join our talented, fun team. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

We offer an array of tax and accounting services within many different industries and the amount of experience and growth is endless.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation of tax workpapers and data entry into Lacerte tax software.
• Preparation of bank and other balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assist /oversee accounts payable/accounts receivable function.
• Maintenance and closing of General Ledger and associated subsidiary ledgers on a monthly basis, including all associated activities.
• Manage multi-state tax compliance
• Jurisdiction registration and setup
• Resolve tax notices and inquiries

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance

• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
• Looking for an individual who has an exceptional work ethic.

Schedule:

• 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday
• 8 am to 7pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 8am to 5pm during busy season (Paid Overtime)

Compensation: $50,000 salary + paid overtime
