# Entry-Level Insurance Recruiter **Silicon Valley District Office - Farmers Insurance & Financial Solutions** · Cupertino, CA 95014 · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Are you interested in a career where you can connect with people, introduce them to opportunities they may have never considered, and make a meaningful impact on their future? Join the Silicon Valley District Office, one of the top-performing Farmers Insurance districts in the company and on the West Coast. Our District Office team supports approximately 28 Farmers Insurance agency owners throughout Silicon Valley and the surrounding areas. As our District continues to grow, we are excited to add an Entry-Level Recruiter to our team. This is a true entry-level recruiting opportunity. Previous recruiting or insurance experience is not required. Whether you are early in your career, changing career paths, or bringing experience from sales, customer service, hospitality, business development, or another people-focused role, we encourage you to apply. We are looking for potential and will teach the right person the recruiting process from the ground up. We are looking for someone outgoing, confident, organized, and motivated by goals who genuinely enjoys connecting with people. Sales experience is a strong plus, as relationship building, persistence, and resilience translate well into recruiting. You will work directly alongside our Recruiting Manager and collaborate with our District Manager, District Office team, and agency owners while learning the recruiting process hands-on. You will learn how to source candidates, review resumes, conduct initial interviews, build candidate relationships, manage a recruiting pipeline, and support candidates throughout the hiring, licensing, and onboarding process. You will receive daily guidance, real-time feedback, and ongoing coaching as your skills and confidence develop. Our recruiting needs are diverse. You’ll help recruit full-time Sales Producers and Customer Service Representatives for our agency owners, candidates for our Agent in Training and agency ownership opportunities, and talent for the District Office. The most rewarding part is getting to know the person behind the resume, understanding what motivates them, and helping them explore the right opportunity. Recruiting also takes persistence and resilience, so we’re looking for someone who can handle rejection professionally and bring the same confidence and enthusiasm to the next conversation. As your skills grow, so will your responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to take greater ownership of candidate relationships and play an important role in our District’s continued growth. Job Description/Responsibilities As an Entry-Level Recruiter, you will learn and support the recruiting process from initial sourcing and resume review through interviewing, candidate follow-up, hiring, licensing, and early onboarding. In this role, you will: Source and connect with potential candidates through Indeed, job boards, recruiting platforms, referrals, and other recruiting channels. Review resumes and learn how to identify candidates who may align with opportunities throughout our District. Conduct initial phone interviews with guidance from the Recruiting Manager, learning how to ask thoughtful questions, build rapport, evaluate potential, and create a positive candidate experience. Build genuine relationships with candidates, understand what they are looking for in their next opportunity, and keep them engaged throughout the recruiting process. Follow up consistently and professionally with candidates throughout the hiring and licensing process. Learn how to navigate candidate questions, hesitation, objections, rejection, and changes of mind while maintaining a positive candidate experience. Coordinate and schedule interviews for qualified candidates with the Recruiting Manager, District Manager, District Office team, and agency owners. Maintain detailed and accurate candidate notes, statuses, follow-up dates, and next steps in our tracking systems. Participate in regular pipeline meetings with the Recruiting Manager to review candidates, prioritize follow-ups, discuss next steps, and work toward District recruiting goals. Support candidates through the insurance licensing process when licensing is required, helping them understand their next steps and stay on track. Build relationships with our agency owners and learn their individual businesses, team needs, and the type of candidates who may thrive within their agencies. Take on additional recruiting and onboarding responsibilities as your skills, confidence, and industry knowledge grow. Qualifications No previous recruiting or insurance experience is required. This is an entry-level position, and we are prepared to invest the time and training needed to develop the right person. 1 to 3 years of professional or customer-facing experience is preferred. Experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, business development, call centers, or other people-focused roles can translate especially well into recruiting. Sales experience is a strong plus, particularly for candidates who enjoy relationship building, working toward goals, and communicating confidently with new people. Outgoing and personable with a genuine interest in meeting, learning about, and connecting with others. Clear and confident communicator, particularly over the phone. Comfortable initiating conversations, asking thoughtful questions, and building rapport with different personalities. Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and excited by seeing individual and team progress. Persistent and resilient. Recruiting involves follow-up and rejection, and you should be able to stay positive and continue moving forward when a candidate says no. Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple candidates, conversations, follow-ups, and deadlines. Strong note-taking skills and commitment to maintaining accurate candidate records. Coachable and receptive to feedback with a genuine desire to learn and continuously improve. Dependable, accountable, and willing to take ownership of your responsibilities. Comfortable learning new technology, including email, spreadsheets, job boards, and candidate tracking systems.
