L Position: Entrepreneurship & Career Launchpad (ECL) Salary: 5000 - 6000 AED Client Industry : Education & Training About the Role: The Entrepreneurship & Career Launchpad (ECL) Program is designed to prepare students for two key pathways: building and launching their own ventures or developing the skills and capabilities required to secure high-level corporate careers. The ECL Program Mentor will play a critical role in guiding students through both pathways by combining entrepreneurship education, career development, industry exposure, market intelligence, communication training, and practical mentorship. The ideal candidate will be highly entrepreneurial, commercially aware, confident, and passionate about developing students into job-ready professionals, future entrepreneurs, and strong business leaders. Key Responsibilities 1. Curriculum Development & Program Design * Research, develop, and continuously improve the ECL curriculum based on current industry trends and market requirements. * Design practical and engaging learning modules covering entrepreneurship, business strategy, career development, and professional skills. * Incorporate real-world topics such as: * Startup ideation and validation * Business models and market research * Funding and fundraising strategies * Business scaling and growth * Market entry strategies * Global business trends * Corporate career pathways * Interview preparation and professional development * Regularly update course content to reflect emerging industries, technologies, business models, and employer expectations. * Introduce practical assignments, case studies, simulations, projects, presentations, and industry-based activities. 2. Entrepreneurship Mentorship & Startup Development * Mentor students who are interested in launching their own businesses and startups. * Guide students from **idea generation to validation, business planning, market entry, and growth strategy**. * Help students identify and evaluate viable business opportunities. * Support students in conducting market research, competitor analysis, customer validation, and business model development. * Guide students in developing compelling business pitches and investor presentations. * Train students to confidently communicate their business ideas to investors, partners, customers, and other stakeholders. * Help students understand startup funding, fundraising, bootstrapping, and investment-readiness. * Challenge students to test, refine, pivot, and improve their business ideas based on market feedback. * Monitor the progress and market-readiness of student startup projects. 3. Global Market Intelligence & Business Exposure * Provide students with exposure to global business trends, industries, markets, and emerging opportunities. * Research international markets and identify relevant business opportunities that can be incorporated into the ECL curriculum. * Teach students how to analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, competitors, and emerging industries. * Encourage students to think beyond local markets and understand international business opportunities. * Introduce students to relevant entrepreneurs, business leaders, companies, and industry professionals where appropriate. * Facilitate industry interactions, guest sessions, networking opportunities, workshops, and practical exposure. 1. Career Readiness & Corporate Preparation * Develop and deliver a structured career-readiness track for students pursuing corporate careers. * Prepare students for competitive roles in leading companies across relevant industries. * Provide training in: * CV and LinkedIn profile development * Interview preparation * Business communication * Presentation skills * Public speaking * Professional etiquette * Problem-solving * Critical thinking * Leadership * Negotiation * Workplace communication * Group discussions * Case interviews and business assessments * Conduct mock interviews, assessment-centre activities, presentations, role plays, and corporate simulations. * Help students identify suitable career paths based on their skills, interests, and professional goals. * Support students in understanding employer expectations and recruitment processes. * Prepare students to communicate their achievements, experience, and value effectively during interviews and professional interactions. 5. Confidence, Communication & Soft Skills Development * Actively develop students into confident, articulate, and persuasive communicators. * Conduct regular public speaking, presentation, pitching, debate, and communication exercises. * Encourage students to express their opinions, ideas, and perspectives confidently. * Help students overcome hesitation, fear of public speaking, and communication barriers. * Develop students' ability to communicate effectively with senior professionals, employers, investors, clients, and business stakeholders. * Track and provide feedback on students' communication and confidence development. 6. Student Mentoring & Performance Management * Conduct regular one-to-one and group mentoring sessions. * Understand individual student goals and provide personalised guidance. * Monitor student progress throughout the ECL journey. * Identify students who require additional academic, professional, or personal development support. * Provide constructive feedback and actionable improvement plans. * Maintain appropriate records of student progress, projects, assessments, and achievements. * Coordinate with the academic and management teams to ensure effective student development. 7. Industry & Employer Engagement * Build relationships with entrepreneurs, industry professionals, companies, recruiters, investors, and business leaders. * Identify opportunities for internships, employment, mentorship, networking, and industry exposure. * Support the organisation of career fairs, networking events, startup showcases, pitch competitions, workshops, and industry sessions. * Help create opportunities for students to interact directly with employers and industry professionals. * Stay informed about hiring trends, skill requirements, emerging roles, and industry expectations. 8. Student Startup & Career Outcomes * Establish clear development milestones for both entrepreneurship and career-track students. * Ensure students graduate from the program with tangible outcomes such as: * A validated business idea * Business model and launch strategy * Investor-ready pitch * Professional CV and LinkedIn profile * Interview readiness * Strong communication and presentation skills * Industry exposure and professional network * Clear career or entrepreneurial roadmap *Track student outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement of the ECL program.
