Business Development Representative (BDR)

Brainy Actz runs interactive entertainment venues in Tustin, San Diego, Temecula, Bakersfield, and Tacoma. We offer private escape rooms and high-energy group activities — live Game Show experiences, axe & knife throwing, rage rooms, splatter paint, Nerf wars, and archery arrow tag. We’re a go-to for corporate team building, company events, birthday parties, and family groups.

This full-time, commission role is five days a week: you’ll book larger groups, grow revenue, and be the friendly first point of contact for customers. Strong phone sales, clear follow-up, and solid communication with staff at every location are a big part of the job.

Group sales

• Prospect and close corporate, school, church, sports-team, birthday, and private party bookings
• Build packages that mix rooms and activities for bigger headcounts
• Quote, negotiate, and lock in deposits and contracts
• Coordinate dates, headcount, add-ons, and special requests with the venue team
• Keep groups excited through confirmation day and handle questions or changes along the way
• Hit monthly and quarterly booking and revenue goals
• Log client preferences and pass useful feedback to leadership

Customer support

• Answer booking, billing, schedule, and experience questions quickly
• Help address customer issues/complaints in a friendly and professional manner
• Follow up until the customer has a clear answer or next steps

1 or more years of sales or customer-resolution experience (group sales, hospitality, events, or entertainment preferred). High school diploma or equivalent. Positive and determined, with strong spoken and written English, active listening, social awareness, solid time management, and a calm head with upset customers. Comfortable on phones, email, and CRM/notes — moving deals from first contact to booked event, and closing the loop on support issues.
