We partner with healthcare providers, medical device companies, and researchers to collect, analyze, and act on patient-reported outcomes data at scale — powering smarter clinical decisions and accelerating the future of value-based care. Headquartered in Chicago and backed by top-tier venture capital and major health system investors, PatientIQ is building the largest platform for healthcare providers, industry partners, and researchers to collaborate on what matters most: helping patients get better. The opportunity We're looking for an Enterprise BDR to drive net-new pipeline by prospecting into and engaging senior stakeholders at large, complex healthcare organizations. You'll own the top of the funnel for our enterprise segment — researching target accounts, crafting personalized outreach, and booking qualified meetings for Account Executives. This role requires someone comfortable navigating multi-stakeholder buying committees and the longer sales cycles typical of enterprise deals. What you'll do Outbound Prospecting - Conduct outbound prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels) into enterprise-level target accounts - Leverage AI tools to research accounts, map buying committees within target accounts, and to personalize outreach at scale — while ensuring messaging still feels human and relevant. - Personalize outreach based on account-specific context, trigger events, and relevant use cases Qualification & Handoff - Comfortable using AI-powered sales tools (e.g., for prospecting research, email/message drafting, or call summarization) to work faster and smarter, not just to increase volume. - Qualify inbound and outbound leads against our ICP (ideal customer profile) and BANT/MEDDIC-style criteria - Book and hand off qualified meetings, ensuring smooth transition of context to the AE team - Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM (activity, notes, next steps) Cross-Functional Partnership - Partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing on account-based campaigns and target account lists - Continuously test and refine outreach messaging, sequences, and cadences Performance - Consistently hit or exceed monthly/quarterly pipeline generation targets What success looks like We believe clarity drives performance. Here's what the first 90 days look like in this role: - 30 days: Ramped on product, ICP, and messaging; territory and target account list built; prospecting cadences live. - 60 days: Consistent outbound volume and multi-threaded outreach into target accounts; qualified meetings booked and tracked against pipeline targets. - 90 days: Hitting monthly pipeline generation targets; messaging and cadences refined based on early results; strong AE handoff process in place. Requirements What you bring Required - Prior experience as a BDR/SDR in B2B SaaS, with a track record of outbound prospecting into enterprise accounts - Experience researching and engaging multiple stakeholders within a single target account (not just single-threaded outreach) - Comfort with a longer, more consultative sales cycle versus SMB/mid-market prospecting - Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to craft compelling, personalized outreach at scale - Familiarity with sales engagement tools (Sales Navigator, Outreach, Salesloft,) and CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) - Resilient, coachable, and metrics-driven — comfortable with high-volume outreach and a fair amount of rejection - Strong organizational skills to manage a large territory of accounts and contacts Nice to have - Experience in US B2B SaaS healthcare technology - Familiarity with ABM tools (6sense, CommonRoom, ZoomInfo, etc.) - Experience with a structured sales methodology (MEDDIC, Challenger, Command of the Message, etc.) Benefits Why PatientIQ - Mission-driven work. We're solving a hard problem that matters — improving patient outcomes through better data. Every person here is working on something real. - True idea meritocracy. Great ideas win, regardless of title. We encourage every team member to challenge the status quo. - World-class team. You'll work alongside people who are at the top of their fields in health tech, enterprise software, and clinical science. - Fast-growing. We're building the largest platform for healthcare providers and industry to collaborate — and we're just getting started. - Great benefits. Top-notch health, dental, and vision. 401(k). Flexible PTO — we trust you to take the time you need. Professional development stipends. - Real ownership. This is not a role where you maintain someone else's playbook. You'll build, shape strategy, and see your impact directly. Originally posted on Himalayas
