# Engineer III (Ref: CS-M-MDMS-EIII-CT) **The Hongkong Electric Co., Ltd.** · Hong Kong · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Responsibilities: Reporting to the Meter Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following duties: To assist in the design, development, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), including the Head-End System and Meter Data Management System To support the cyber security, regulatory compliance and documentation requirements of AMI systems To liaise with system vendors and internal stakeholders, including IT professionals on system issues, enhancements and data-related enquiries To undertake technical assignments, including job planning, procurement of communication equipment, quality assurance, system evaluation and testing of metering-related hardware and software To assist in the preparation of tender specifications, technical evaluations, recommendations, reports and other project documentation Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or related disciplines, with qualifications leading to Corporate Membership of HKIE A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience, preferably in smart metering systems, data management systems, systems integration and data analytics Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, leveraging workflow automation and data analytics solutions to improve productivity and operational efficiency Knowledge of SQL, databases technologies, AMI or smart metering systems preferred Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written Working Location: North Point Application: If you are interested in this position, please send your resume (in PDF format) with details of qualification, experience, present and expected salaries, and contact number to the Human Resources Division, The Hongkong Electric Co., Ltd. at [email redacted, apply via Company website] on or before 28 October 2026 and quote the reference number in your application.
